外国人食堂（2024年度）について
事業概要
外国人労働者受入環境整備事業の一環として、日本で慣れない生活を送る外国人留学生等に無料で食事を振る舞う「外国人食堂」を開催し、コロナ禍で経済的困窮と孤立を深めた人たちを支援し、外国人留学生等同士が繋がれる拠り所となることを目指しています。
また、食事を振る舞うだけでなく、交流イベント、日本語学習や外国人雇用に意欲的な事業所の面接会の開催等も予定しています。
外国人食堂とは
数ヵ月に1回、日本に住む外国人に食事を提供しているもので、毎回異なるメニューを楽しんでいただきます。参加する人たちにとっては、新たな友人を作る機会を得る場となり、また、一緒に仕事を探し、日々の悩みや出来事を共有する「居場所」にもなるものです。
